James Wilks is a unique individual. A man with unparalleled credentials, no one can match his combination of certifications, fighting ability and experience training law enforcement and elite special forces.

James, already trained in numerous martial arts, moved to the USA in 2000 to study with Paul Vunak, US Navy SEALs unarmed combat instructor, to further his knowledge and skill. His focus was street self defense but he wanted to test himself and found Mixed Martial Arts to be the closest thing to real combat. He has competed in various arts winning the Gold Medal at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu US Nationals in 2008, winning the Ultimate Fighter in 2009 and is undefeated in Full Contact Stick Fighting. His is also a certified NRA pistol instructor and classified sharpshooter with the IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association).

James takes the techniques from Mixed Martial Arts which really work, adds all the street elements that are missing and removes parts that just aren’t effective on the street.
